About Me

Contemporary Art: I have just graduated from the University of Huddersfield with a first class BA (hons) degree in Contemporary Art. Since then I have been generating opportunities for myself out side of education in order to experience life as a practising artist in the real world. Since the second year of the Degree my work has been concerned with perceptions of beauty and the ugly. I attempt to change the preconceived notions which we hold as a society by harnessing the ‘ugly’, creating aesthetically pleasing, alluring and seductive, jewel like objects from materials and substances that we would otherwise reject and overlook. I hope that this blog will give you an overview of my work and what inspires me and my practice
